BIODYNAMIC BREATHWORK & TRAUMA RELEASE SYSTEM
BBTRS®
The Biodynamic Breathing & Trauma Release System, BBTRS®, is a somatic therapy
created by Giten Tonkov and practiced in several countries, for more than 20 years.
BBTRS® is a trauma-informed approach combining breathwork, movement, sound, bodywork, emotional release and meditation.
It is also based on mindfulness and listening to the sensations in the body.
It works on regulating the nervous system, respecting its limits and inviting us to be in presence, connecting us with the wisdom and guidance of our own body.
Through the oscillation between zones of tension and zones of safety,
the elements that make up this method allow us to make stagnant emotions flow,
bringing precious information from the unconscious in a natural way,
as the body knows and feels, even when there is apathy.
During the session, the body finds a safe space for free expression and release,
in presence, listening and compassion.
The BBTRS® Practitioner Certification Program is the most widely recognized professional breathwork facilitator training in the market. It meets or exceeds the standards of these affiliated organizations and accrediting bodies for minimum required hours as established by the Australian Breathwork Association, National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, International Breathwork Foundation, and the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance.
